The City of San Antonio World Heritage Office will host “Honoring Heritage: A Conversation and Book Signing with Former U.S. Ambassador Ken Salazar” as part of the 11th Annual World Heritage Festival.
As U.S. Secretary of the Interior, Ambassador Salazar was instrumental in the San Antonio Missions achieving World Heritage status, and his impact is told as part of the Honoring Heritage exhibit at the World Heritage Center.
This discussion will highlight the designation as well as the communities, cultures, and connections between the United States and Mexico, as explored in his new book “Borderlands.”
