Join Harriet Tubman’s great-great-great grandniece, Michele Jones Galvin, for a day of history, storytelling, and culture. Discover Middlesex County’s African American heritage through immersive programs, tours, food, and family-friendly activities.Highlights include:
• Talks and book signings with Michele Jones Galvin and local author Monica Chenault-Kilgore
• A tour of the historic Cato Hoagland House, owned by a free Black man in the 1800s
• Interactive exhibits, researchers, and interpreters sharing untold stories
• Food tastings rooted in African American culinary traditions
