Cleveland-born Taylor Character, known globally as HoneyLuv, didn’t take a traditional path into dance music. Before the decks, she pursued a pro basketball career and later served in the U.S. Navy, where music became her focus. After long shifts, she spent nights in the barracks practicing and recording, using her final years in service to build the foundation of her career.
Emerging as a full-time artist during the pandemic, HoneyLuv’s rise was fast yet deeply rooted. She went from a bedroom DJ in Los Angeles to an international headliner, earning early recognition from BBC Radio 1, The New York Times, Beatport, and DJ Mag, where she was named Breakthrough Producer. Her sound blends affirming vocals, stomping kick drums, and heavy basslines that honor early house while pushing it forward. Tracks like “Your Tongue” and her breakout hit “365 (Thr33 6ix 5ive)” on Black Book Records established her as a new force, with the latter surpassing 21 million Spotify streams and widespread tastemaker support from names such as Pete Tong, Danny Howard, and Charlie Hedges.
Collaboration has been central to her evolution, including “Sway” with Dope Earth Alien, a BBC Radio 1 Hottest Record, work with Harry Romero, Will Clarke, Cakes da Killa, NEZ, and Seth Troxler, and remixes for Diplo, Lizzo, and Annie Mac. She’s shared stages with Dennis Ferrer, Jamie Jones, The Martinez Brothers, Nicole Moudaber, and Derrick Carter, with standout back-to-back sets alongside Idris Elba accelerating her global ascent.
By 2026, HoneyLuv stands as a leading voice in futuristic house and tech-house as a DJ, producer, and label boss. Through her imprint, 4 Tha Luv, she centers the Black and LGBTQ+ communities that built house music while preserving its original spirit. A high-energy performer with deep community roots, HoneyLuv heads into 2026 with a global tour across major festivals and events including EDC Mexico, Drumsheds, Miami Music Week, Argy’s New World, and Defected Festival Croatia, alongside a full schedule of standout releases on the horizon via her own imprint, 4 Tha Luv, as well as via some of the world’s most prestigious music labels.

Born in Peru and now based in Phoenix, Gio Lucca is an emerging producer and DJ on a mission to create timeless art that reflects his unique personality and love of music.
