Our programs are hands-on, fun, silly, educational and memorable. You are guaranteed to learn a LOT, have a few laughs, and leave Honeybee Centre ready to bee a Bee Hero!
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
This program is recommended for children ages 6 and up. We encourage adults to stay and participate, but children may also be dropped off and picked up by an adult.
During this 75+ minute hands-on class, students learn all about how bees make honey and how beekeepers harvest, extract and pour it! Each registered child will design their own honey label, pour ONE jar of raw, local honey to take home, and taste a variety of delicious monofloral honeys.
REGISTRATION OPTIONS
- 1 Child + 1 Adult: $40 + Eventbrite fees & tax
- 2 Children + 1 or 2 Adults: $70 + Eventbrite fees & tax

A FEW NOTES
- Every child over 2 years in the space must be registered.
- Each registered child receives one 250 gram jar of honey to pour and take home. Adults are welcome to participate in the activities and tasting, but do not pour their own jar.
- Additional honey jars may be purchased during the program for $12 per jar based on availability.
- Honey tasting is included for both registered children and accompanying adults.
- Please let us know in advance about any food allergies or dietary restrictions.
- The program is planned for 75+ minutes, but the exact length may vary depending on the number of questions from the group and how quickly the honey pours on the day.
- Please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled start time so we can get everyone settled and begin the program on time.
