About this Event
Join us for an evening of exploration into the world’s oldest fermented beverage and its natural partner, honey! In this guided class, you’ll enjoy 5 unique honeys paired with 5 of our meads, discovering how flavors, aromas, and textures come together in harmony!
Your tasting journey includes:
- Zambian Wildflower Honey paired with Zambian Mead
- Bracatinga Honey paired with Bracatinga Mead
- Caramel Sea Salt Whipped Honey paired with Blue Angel (apple mead)
- Hibiscus Cinnamon Whipped Honey paired with Ginger Mead
- Bourbon Barrel-Aged Honey paired with End of the Wait (vanilla bean mead aged in bourbon barrels)
Guiding you through this experience will be Black Heath Meadery owner, Bill Cavender, who will share insights into the art of meadmaking and the origins of each honey.
Whether you’re a seasoned mead enthusiast or simply curious about honey’s remarkable range of flavors, this is a one-of-a-kind tasting designed to both educate and delight!
