Please join us for a fun evening of entertainment and inspiration as we bring together Atlanta’s business and philanthropic communities to support the Honduras Agalta Valley Education Foundation (HAVE) and its transformative efforts to provide quality education for the children of the Agalta Valley. The program features an entertaining talk by Barbara Dooley, one of the South’s most precious gems. An accomplished author, businessperson, media personality and non-profit volunteer, Barbara draws on her more than 50-year marriage to legendary University of Georgia football coach Vince Dooley and other personal experiences to captivate audiences with her Southern brand of humor. She and Vince, who passed away at the age of 90 in 2022, were long-standing members of the Wilderness Team, a diverse group of individuals who travel to Honduras annually to partner with the people of the Agalta Valley to improve the quality of life in the region through education, health care and commerce.
The program will include the announcement of the HAVE Foundation Community Impact Award, the 2025 Heart for Honduras Award, the Dr. Hugh Spruell Award and the Wilderness Team Hall of Fame inductees.
HAVE was founded by the Wilderness Team in 2006. The group will be making its annual trip to Honduras, March 1-8, 2025.
The evening will also feature authentic Latin cuisine, wine/whiskey pull and a documentary by Byron Small. Reserve your tickets now!
