This week at the Lake Harriet Bandshell we are hosting Homeward Bound, a midwestern music group. Homeward Bound has been contributing to the Twin Cities' music scene for more than 30 years. Steeped in the rich vocal harmonies of 70s, 80s and 90s pop, our repertoire includes rock, pop, folk, blues, gospel, country, and more. Call it Upper Midwestern roots music, delivered with feeling from this end of the big river. Fun fact: The total range of ages of the band members recently *decreased* to 39 years. Since 1892, Music in the Parks has provided residents and families opportunities to gather and enjoy local music throughout the summer. Since its inception thousands of free concerts have taken place. Concerts are weekly and vary from classic rock, hip hop, international, funk and many more genres of music.
