The City of Alpine invites you to enjoy a night of Christmas cheer on Saturday December 21st!Parade line-up starting a 5pm and step-off is a 6pm.
Nothing says Christmas like a great big tree! The festivities will start at City Hall you can check in at the big Christmas Tree and get your spot in the parade lineup. You do not have to register for the parade. Just show up and have FUN! Santa will be horseback!! So please no loud sirens and no other live Santas.
From there Alpine Police Department will lead the Hometown Christmas Parade through the heart of downtown Alpine with festive shops, art galleries and murals beautifully lit up for the holidays. The parade will go up Holland to 2nd Street then turn and stop at the Alpine Visitor Center at the corner of Ave E and 3rd Street.
There will be a prize for the top float, plus 2nd and 3rd!!
The parade ends at the Alpine Visitors Center with a concert by the Alpine Community Band.
AND SANTA will be there too! After he rides in the parade everyone will get a chance to tell Santa what they want for Christmas and pose for pictures! Be sure to get some treats and hot cocoa from Mrs. Claus.
