Homeschool Workshop - Mini-Catapults
Schedule

UTC-06:00Location
The Works Museum | Bloomington, MN
We're thrilled to invite your young engineers to our next homeschool workshop: Mini-Catapults! On November 4th from 10:00-11:00am, your kids will explore the mechanics of projectile motion and get hands-on by building their very own catapults using simple materials-- No need to worry about hunting for supplies or wrangling hot glue guns at home!
In true engineering fashion, kids will be challenged to test their creations and then tweak their designs based on what they see-- It’s all about thinking critically and seeing how they can improve. They'll see physics in action as they exercise their creativity and learn how things work!
We can’t wait to see what kind of launchers and innovations they come up with! If you’re ready for an hour of hands-on fun and learning, click the link below to register. We’ll provide everything; your young engineers just need to bring their curiosity and enthusiasm.
Workshops are $11.50 and $9.50 for members. Museum admission is not included in the price of the workshop. We offer all families who visit the Museum after the workshop half-price admission. Member admission is always free. Register today to save your child's spot.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
Warmly,
Frances Van Sloun, Education Manager
