3rd Thursday of the Month | September 2026 - March 2027
Looking for a dedicated homeschool day at the museum? Join us on select Thursdays throughout the school year for Homeschool Thursdays, an afternoon with programming just for South Carolina homeschool families to explore the museum, connect with other homeschoolers, and participate in special educational programs.
Families are welcome to explore the museum together, meet other homeschoolers, or register for one or more of our special educational programs. Whether you’re interested in a planetarium show, a 4D theater film, or a hands-on STEAM activity, you can customize your afternoon to fit your family’s interests.
2 - 2:30 p.m. | 4D Theater: Animal Kingdom
2:30 - 3:30 p.m. | Planetarium: The Solar System
2:30 - 3:30 p.m. | STEAM Program: Matter Matters
