🌿 Get ready for the Homeschool Outdoor Fair: Nature’s Detectives! 🕵️
🐞 Homeschool students (grades K-12) are invited out for a FREE, fun day in the Springfield Botanical Gardens, where they’ll explore local nonprofits focused on history, nature and the environment. Students become “nature detectives” through hands-on activities, animal interactions, demonstrations and a scavenger hunt 🔎
📅 Tuesday, October 7 | ⏰ 10 a.m.–2 p.m. | 📍 2400 S Scenic Ave.
• Presentations:
• 10:30–11 a.m.: Wonders of Wildlife
• 11:30 a.m.–12 p.m.: History Museum on the Square
• 1–1:30 p.m.: Dickerson Park Zoo
• Activities and exhibits from 20+ community organizations
• Picnic lunch break: 12–12:30 p.m. (bring your own lunch) 🥪
• Prize raffle at 2 p.m. (must be present to win) 🎁
