🕷️🌸🐝 Homeschool Morning: Pollinators, Arachnids & Insects
Join us for a hands-on homeschool science class exploring the fascinating world of pollinators, insects, and arachnids! This interactive morning gives students the opportunity to experience real-world science in a fun, engaging environment.
Students will:
• Learn about the plant life cycle and the vital role of pollinators�• Explore the basics of beekeeping and why bees matter�• Dissect a flower to examine its structures up close�• Observe a spider dissection while learning about arachnid anatomy�• Catch a bug themselves for close observation�• Create a “Moving Spider” craft (elementary students)
✨ Educational, engaging, and aligned with Florida State Standards
📅 Dates:
• March 4– Middle School (Grades 6–8)
• March 5 & 6 – Elementary (Grades K–5)
⏰ Time: 9:30 to ~11:00AM
🚪 Arrival: Please arrive by 9:00 AM for parking and check-in
🎟 Admission:
• Free for Year Pass Members
• General admission required for non-members (includes day pass)
👩‍🏫 Instructor:
Miss Paige (or one of our other educators) will guide students through engaging lessons designed to spark curiosity and encourage hands-on learning.
