Homeschool Masonry & Carpentry Workshop Fall 2024

Join us for an engaging, hands-on Masonry and Carpentry Workshop for homeschool students! In this workshop, students will learn the fundamentals of these two trades safety through interactive projects. Guided by skilled instructors from ABC Block & Brick, CB Masonry, and Bass Commercial Concrete, students will gain valuable craftsmanship skills, creativity, and confidence as they explore these areas of the construction industry. Perfect for young builders eager to learn through practical, real-world experiences!

The Associated Builders & Contractors of Arkansas is a non-profit trade association that offers education, safety training, professional development, business development, and much more to companies in the commercial and industrial construction industry. We also work with various student and community groups to expose them to craft skills and educate them on careers in construction.

Workshop Details:

Date: Tuesday, October 29, 2024

Session One: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Open to any homeschool students ages 8 - 12.

Session Two: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Open to any homeschool students ages 13 - 18.

Cost: $45 per person
