ABOUT US

Homeschool Hub was set up to provide a 'co-op' service for the local homeschool community. We saw most co-ops are privately run by parents who have known each other for a while and have a friendship and bond. But for those who are new to homeschooling or haven't yet made those relationships; or are not sure how to start and run their own co-op, or need an additional activity in the week, that's already organised and planned, Homeschool Hub is the place for you.

This term at Homeschool Hub, we will learn about space over the 6 weeks. We have planned exciting and fun activities for the children; there will be rocket building, moon rock hunts, galaxy jars, star constellations and much more!

We will be organising a star-gazing trip, where we will go out under the night sky and see the amazing star constellations with our own eyes.

Our planned activities are engaging and differentiated. We will also have a scrapbook for each child to build over the 6 weeks with their classwork, pictures, drawings etc.

There will be a free play session, for the children to build relationships and bond.

We find ways to encourage children to get confident to read aloud or share with the whole class, such as holding a little show-and-tell session.

We cannot wait to get started and bring knowledge, fun and joy to you all!

What will your child experience at HSH

Learning to write their name and identify it on the register
Stories, songs and poetry on the carpet
Themed activities e.g. Hajj and Ramadan, Spring bird week, summer sports day etc
Islamic learning incorporated through out
Topics such as healthy eating, mindfulness, volcanos and other science experiments
Phonics, letter/word tracing, vocabulary, Arabic Language
'Show and tell' to build confidence in front of everyone
Sensory play with play dough, sand, coloured rice etc
Creating a scrapbook of their work
Free play social bonding time
Quran circle time, reading through a surah each week

Session times: Tuesday 10.30am - 12.30pm

Term 1 Start Date: 4th October 2022

 End date : 8th November 2022

6-week term

Fees:

One-off registration fee of £5 (plus Eventbrite fee) per child*
£8 per session**
£6 per session for siblings
Siblings age 3 and under are free to attend

* This is what you will pay with this Eventbrite ticket purchase. This will secure your place on our register/waiting list. For returning customers who have previously already paid the one-off registration fee, this ticket price will be deducted from your term fee, so there will be no additional registration fee charge.

**The total fee for the term will be sent as an invoice to you via email with payment details. When you have paid the term fee, you will have secured your membership in Homeschool Hub.

We will contact you within 48hrs, to confirm your place. If we are unable to give you a place, you will receive a FULL REFUND of the registration fee (excluding the Eventbrite fee of £0.98).

Terms and Conditions:

All members of Homeschool Hub (HSH) should be made aware of, and accept these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to make changes and amendments to these Terms and Conditions at any point. HSH sessions will need to be pre-booked in advance and payment will be taken for a 6 week period (1 term) made payable with cash, Credit or Debit card during the registration process.

Individual memberships and any missed sessions are non refundable. Where an individual decides not to participate, is not allowed to participate, or is asked to cease participation, no refunds will be made. You can ONLY cancel your membership with a two weeks notice via email or contacting one of the site managers. By taking out membership with HSH you agree that upon cancellation we cannot refund any weeks prior to the cancellation for any reason.

HSH accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property while visiting the site. Vehicles are parked at the owners risk and we take no responsibility for loss or damage, however caused.

We are pleased to provide this facility and whilst we have attempted to make it as safe as possible, the very nature of children’s play activity means that accidents can occasionally happen. We cannot therefore accept any responsibility for injury or damage to children or clothing whilst playing in our centre. Parental supervision is essential at all times in all areas of the centre, as it is not supervised by our staff.

All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult, over the age of 18, who must remain within the building at all times. HSH does not accept responsibility for the supervision of children. It is the responsibility of parents/guardians to supervise and accompany children on the premises. Please understand and accept HSH is NOT a creche facility. Parents who have left children unattended will be asked to leave and no refund will be given.

In the case where we are fully booked and have no available places to offer you, then the registration fee will be refunded back to you in full excluding the Eventbrite fee of £0.98. In all other circumstances the registration fee is non-refundable.

For returning customers who have previously already paid the one-off registration fee, this ticket price will be deducted from your term fee, so there will be no additional registration fee charge.

If you have signs or symptoms of Covid-19 you must inform us and not attend the session. If in the case you are covid positive then we can make a refund for the session missed. if in the case it is not, then unfortunately we cannot refund you for the session.
