In this month’s hands-on exploration of food history, we’re traveling to ancient Ireland! Through cooking and gardening activities, students will discover how Ireland’s geography, agriculture, and traditions shaped its cuisine—from ancient grains and hearty root vegetables to comforting dishes that sustained families for generations. Together, we’ll cook classic Irish recipes with fresh ingredients from the garden, while celebrating the stories that make these dishes delicious.
