Dolphins, manatees, birds, and other marine life may be encountered as the naturalist describes the lagoon and inhabitants aboard our 40 person pontoon. Participants will disembark onto a remote island in the lagoon to explore in depth. Each month will focus on a different topic, providing an engaging educational experience.
This program is offered from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. once each month throughout the school year.
K-12th grade | $25 per person
Minimum number of participants required for program to occur.
Students must be accompanied by an adult. Students AND adults must pay and register as participants.

January 14 • Weather vs Climate
"How do we understand weather trends?"
February 11 • Mollusks & Crustaceans (A Love Story)
"How do these creatures rely on one another in the Indian River Lagoon ecosystem?"
March 11 • All About Plants
"What is so important about plants and what kinds live in our lagoon?"
April 8 • Endangered Species
"What makes the Indian River Lagoon an estuary of national importance and what endangered species live here?"
