Visit the Learning Campus once a month this fall for homeschool classes for grades K-12. There will be fun activities for the students to participate in while also learning about the biodiverse ecosystems at Alabama's Gulf State Park (and maybe even meeting some new friends!)
Topics:
SEPTEMBER-Become a Naturalist! Learn the tricks of the trade while discovering topics like Biology, Phenology, and more!
OCTOBER-Spooky season! Dissect a squid and discover some invertebrate adaptations before joining forces with the other students for a seasonal activity!
NOVEMBER-Mighty Migrators! Learn about the species that migrate in Gulf State Park (Ornithology) and important pollinators.
DECEMBER-BRRR! Explore the park to see how it has changed from the beginning of the semester before making seasonal crafts inside.
Two classes will be held concurrently. Ages 12-18 AND ages 5-11.
September ages 5-11 is FULL
