Participants of all ages will experience the Museum's living history presentations, hands-on learning programs, and Children's Gallery crafts. Homeschool Days will start at 10:00 a.m. with an orientation for the day's activities in our spacious Grand Hall, and each of the educator-led programs will begin at 10:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 12:00 a.m. No registration is required.
November's event will focus on military history. As the Volunteer State, Tennesseans have had a long tradition of military service. During this homeschool day, we will be looking at what that idea of service and sacrifice as meant to the state and people of Tennessee from the War of 1812 through WWII.
