Salutations! This Homeschool Day join your friends Wilbur, Charlotte, and Templeton as they head to the fair.
See demonstrators showing off their skills or crafts, and take part in farm chores just like the Arable’s and Zuckerman’s.
• Meet local demonstrators and find out what important craft or skill was needed to live on a farm.
• Do chores the old fashion the old fashion way – washing laundry, plowing a field, feeding the chickens, and milking Buttermilk the Cow (mechanical milking machine).
• Try your hand at fair games.
• Meet the farm animals: pigs, goats, sheep, ducks, turkeys, and Poncho the donkey!
• Ride the wagon around the 4-acre farm
Activities open from 10am-12pm. Farm open until 1pm. Bring a lunch and enjoy a picnic on the farm!
