Guess Who? Homeschool Book ClubGuess Who? Homeschool Book Club is a monthly book club centered around biography picture books. Each month we will learn about the life of a new person and their accomplishments. No pre-reading is necessary, we will cover everything in our meeting.
What to expect
Our meeting will start with a group game of Guess Who? as we find out who we will be learning about for the day.
After we discover our person of the day, we read a picture book biography to learn more about their life and accomplishments.
We will follow the book reading with a short discussion and a chance to fill out our information cards about that person.
We will end our class with an activity related to the person and their life.
We always try to leave a little bit of time at the beginning and end of classes for kids to play together and build friendships.
All ages are welcomed at the book club. We try to target older elementary kids with the activities but make them accessible and interesting for all ages.
Please be sure to RSVP to each Facebook event so that we can make sure we have enough supplies for all attendees and can share any information that might be needed to you.
