Living in the wild can be dangerous. Birds face predators, extreme weather, droughts, and food shortages. Join Ranger Clare to learn about some of the strategies birds use for survive when faced with dangerous situations. We will play a fun game and observe some real bird behaviors.This program is part of our monthly Homeschool Birding Club for ages 6-12. New participants will receive a birding journal to keep track of their visits to the park and the birds observed.
We will meet at the Bluebird Barn at 10:00 am. Please wear good walking shoes, dress for the weather, and bring a water bottle. We may walk 1-2 miles on easy trails.
