With their ability to fly, live in many different habitats, and migrate long distances, birds are amazing creatures. Join Ranger Clare to learn about some of the adaptations birds use for survival. We will do some fun activities and games before we head out on a short hike to observe adaptations in real birds.
This program is part of our monthly Homeschool Birding Club. First time participants will receive a birding journal to keep track of your observations.
This program is recommended for ages 8-12. Please meet at the Bluebird Barn at 1:00. Be prepared to walk about 2 miles over both paved and unpaved surfaces. Please come prepared with good walking shoes, sunscreen, and a water bottle. Pets are not allowed on programs, except service animals. The cost of this program is $5.00 per student.
