Last one of the year! We’re back Jan 11, 2023. Listeners are welcome! We have had a lot of support for our weekly acoustic jam sessions at Rotary Place/Caledon Seniors Centre, weekly in Bolton on Wednesdays from 130-430. We welcome any acoustic music, including folk, old time, traditional, rock and roll, bluegrass,and original, but no recorded backup or electric instruments except electric bass or piano.
To attend you have to be a member of Caledon Seniors Centre, which is free, as well as pay a $3 drop-in fee that includes coffee and tea. You don’t have to live in Caledon to be a member. Arrive a few minutes early to fill out the one page application - basically, they want your name, address, email and waiver of liability.
The address of the centre is 7 Rotarian Way, Bolton, but it is easier to find if you go to the Caledon Centre at 14111 Hwy 50, Bolton (north end of town) and go to the north east corner of the building – the Seniors Centre is immediately behind the Caledon Centre and has its own parking lot.
