On any given night, there are about 1,000 people in Delaware experiencing homelessness — including more than 200 children. According to the Housing Alliance Delaware, a nonprofit that manages the state's centralized intake for homeless people, advised in 2018 that for every 100 renter households living below the poverty line in Delaware, there are only 24 available and affordable rental homes.
Ignite wants to continue its efforts in doing what we can to help bless those that are least fortunate. Become part of the movement this summer as we do outreach to our homeless community in need.
Your help is needed to transport, package, & hand out groceries and much needed goods.
As the date of this outreach event approaches, we will continue to provide logistics of this initiative.
