Homegrown Harvest is super pumped to present this very special edition of our classic NYE throwdown:)For the occasion, we are beyond excited to welcome the one and only Darwin to the Homegrown decks to showcase her classic cutting-edge UK soundsystem music. She’s the infamous founder of REEF, a 24-hour rave hosted at Berghain that bridges the gaps between techno, dub and breakbeat. She’s also the founder of SPE:C, a label that focuses on UK-centric styles (and is one of our all-time favorite imprints!).
We are also very happy to be welcoming Detroit based 2lanes to Montreal for the very first time. 2lanes is a masterful producer, DJ and raver who’s quickly climbing up the ranks of the global electronic music scene. Focusing mainly on techno, he brings his own unique interpretation to the genre while not losing touch with the vibes of the old school. His performance at Sustain Release 2022 was one of the highlights of the festival and we can’t wait to share this experience with all of you.
We obviously have to give our residents some love, too! You’ve seen them play all year, all around town. You know they are great but we think that a 4-hour b4b with dileta, Lia Plutonic, Lis Dalton and zi! will bring it all to another level:) Pure rave vibes incoming!
We also invited spacegraft, Giotto, MMU, and she.phase to create a unique and highly visual experience that will bring you to another world. For those present at RBMA in 2017, you saw the first version of the project ;) The projections will be supported by an impressive armada of lasers and smoke machines operated by our good friend Jimmy, an expert in the matter.
