From Alumni President Judy Owsley-Hi, Alumni Directors and some interested others,
Due to the students' schedule on Friday, August 29, the reading of the proclamation has been scheduled for 2:30, rather than after school. Brian Risley, who is a Palmer parent as well as a councilman, will be reading the proclamation. This is a time that works well for him. He read the Proclamation last year also.
Please invite everyone you know who might enjoy this meaningful tradition.
We'll meet at City Hall, 107 North Nevada, at 2:25 on Friday, August 29. I'm hoping we'll be able to enter by the main doors on Nevada.

P.S. I've been told that we will need to enter by the Kiowa Street entrance and go thru security on the first floor. Then, we can find our way to the rotunda that's just inside the Nevada doors.
