About this Event
The laughs are back at Beer Thirty when Homebrewed Comedy comes to Binghamton on Thursday, Jan. 19. Damon Millard is headlining the show and he'll be joined by Stephen Brown, Connor Swagler and host Mike Peters.
The show will start at 7 p.m. and seating starts at 6:30. It's a free show, so tip the staff extra well.
About the comedians:
Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters performed at the Funny Bone in Syracuse, the Greenwich Village Comedy Club in New York City, won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcast, On the Mic with Mike Peters.
A native of Nichols, N.Y., Connor Swagler got his start in stand-up in Rochester. He’s been steadily building his arsenal of one-liners and stories -- much to the audiences’ delight. The way Swagler looks is just about how his comedy sounds.
Stephen Brown is a comedian from Binghamton who is way too open for his own good. A former musician and a father of three boys, Brown is a fantastic story-teller with years of ammunition. He’s able to turn the most embarrassing situations in his life into comedic currency for everybody to enjoy.
Damon Millard is a Brooklyn-based stand-up comedian, writer and host of the Low-Budget Show on YouTube. He’s a sharp storyteller comic, whose brutally honest, nothing-to-hide style wins over all kinds of comedy fans. Millard’s on-stage, white-trash persona is also his off-stage, real-life persona. He has two full-length comedy albums: “Unicycle” (2020 Advanced Ham) and his debut album, “Shame, Pain, and Love” (2016 Comedy Dynamics) rose to the top 10 on the iTunes comedy charts the week of its release. Millard’s jokes are featured on Sirius XM and streaming digital services like Apple Music, Pandora and Spotify. He tours the country and can be found at some of America’s best comedy clubs. He can be seen at Broadway Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club, Eastville Comedy Club, The Friar’s Club, Greenwich Village Comedy Club and the Punching Bad, an indy comedy show in Brooklyn that he produces weekly.
