Home Made Film Nite is an open mic for filmmakers. Bring your short films, rough cuts, comedy sketches, music videos, visual poems, trailers, and everything in between. No matter your experience level, no matter how many people are on your crew, no matter what equipment you use, all are welcome to network and enjoy this thing we all love: making and watching movies!
IMPORTANT INFO:
Submit films online anytime between Sunday, January 29, through Saturday, February 25 by visiting: https://bit.ly/3kKA922
Submission and attendance are FREE. Seating will be first come first serve. While the show is free to submit to and attend, it's not free to produce. So if you'd like to support local filmmaking and help me recoup expenses, feel free to Venmo me at @MattJardin.
Program length cannot exceed 120 minutes. Preference for inclusion will be given to films that are shorter than 10 minutes, that consist of a cast/crew that is largely Alaskan, that were produced recently, that were filmed in Alaska, that haven't screened in Alaska before, and whose filmmakers will be present at the time of screening.
Submitters will be notified by Sunday, February 26 at the latest about whether their film is included in the line-up.
Screening a film at this event should not affect its premiere status in film festivals.
This is an all ages screening, but parental discretion is advised due to the uncensored and unknown nature of the films. Violence, swearing, nudity, and crude humor are all possibilities.
No pornography, commercials, or fundraisers.
