Home is Possible | Down Payment Assistance Class
About this Event
You might just be closer to owning a home than you think.
Many Nevada homebuyers assume they need perfect credit, a large down payment, or years of savings before they can buy.
In this free workshop, we'll break down Nevada's Home Is Possible programs, including how eligible buyers may qualify for up to 5% in down payment assistance.
Whether you’re a first-time buyer, getting back into the market, or just starting to explore your options, we’ll walk you through what it really takes and what might be available to you.
💡 What You’ll Learn:
-How Nevada’s Home Is Possible programs actually work
-How the Worker Advantage Program with up to $20,000 can be used toward your home purchase
-What you really need, and what you don’t, to get started
-What today’s buying process looks like, from credit to keys
-How homeownership can become a foundation for long-term wealth
🎓📜 Attendees will receive their Homebuyer Education Certificate, required for all the programs we will cover.

About Your Educators
For nearly three decades, Roland Daniels (NMLS #355859) and Heidi Griffith (NMLS #2247754) have been helping Nevada families at every stage of the homeownership journey — whether you're buying for the first time, starting over, or finally ready to make the move. As licensed loan officers with Geneva Financial in Las Vegas, Nevada, they know Nevada's down payment assistance programs inside and out, and they teach them the way they wish someone had taught them: straight talk, real numbers, no sales pitch. They are especially committed to ensuring that first-generation buyers and underserved communities have access to the same knowledge, resources, and opportunities as everyone else.
Roland is a director with Black Realtists of Southern Nevada, the local chapter of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB), and a board member of the Silver State Fair Housing Council. Heidi serves as the Vice President of the Silver State Fair Housing Council.
Roland and Heidi co-host Mortgage Matters, airing every Sunday at 7:30 AM on KUNV 91.5 and available wherever you listen to podcasts. Roland also hosts It's Ro, Your Mortgage Pro every Tuesday at 11:00 AM on KCEP 88.1.
This class is offered in partnership with the Nevada Housing Division and is open to Nevada residents statewide. Free to attend — register today.
