The last Friday of every month, J Read & Alyse Fontaine host the HiCalLife Open Mic Experience. This live music event was created for the purposes of contributing and expanding the creative culture in the greater Charlotte area. We offer an experience for the artists and enthusiasts that you won’t find anywhere else in the city. All poets, musicians, rappers, singers, dancers, comedians, magicians, and all other performing artists are welcome and encouraged to pull up on us!Come rock out with some of the best musicians on the east coast and/or just enjoy a great night out in the city.
