I’ve been back in Philly a few weeks now but I’m struggling to find my footing, not feeling like leaving the house, put all I had into the buying the building, got pages to turn in by the beginning of November. Could truly use some good home girl energy —my friend has opened her beautiful house to another one of my wacky ideas, a house party of sorts—Alexis will discuss Audre, we’ll write, they’ll be some music, some food, maybe a masseuse, hopefully some belly laughter—if you’re free come through, maybe I’m not the only one feeling this way. Or maybe you can help those of us who are. You can get a free or paid ticket. The tickets just make it so I can order the books and food and pay musicians, but if you ain’t got it, it’s not big deal.
