A day full of fun! Nov. 30th is the Home for the Holidays Festival and Parade! 8- Noon: Explore Great Bend Month - Last day to participate in $1,000 to Explore Great Bend Contest
Shop Small - Holiday Shopping in Great Bend: Be sure to check out the unique items and hometown charm of the Great Bend Retail Shops
10-4pm: Dilly & Doc: Pop-Up Market (1119 Main- Dilly & Doc & Bingo Hall)
10-4pm: Great Bend Cookie Contest: Stop in a Rosewood Furniture Gallery (1607 Main) & get your cookie box to taste the various cookies at different businesses and vote for your favorite
5-8pm - Pawsitive Luminaries - $5 Minimum Donation to light up a luminary in honor of your furry friend. All proceeds go to Paws & Claws/Adopt A Pet in Jack Kilby Square. Contact Cathy Vonfeldt 620-639-6921.
5:30pm: Home for the Holidays Parade Down Main Street - 2024 Grand Marshall is Sarah Krom
6:15pm: Annual Lighting of the Mayor's Tree: Jack Kilby Square, Mayor Cody Schmidt & Santa
6:30pm: Visit Santa's Around the World and see 24 life sized Santa's (1223 Main)
6:45pm: Tell Santa Your Wishlist (1223 Main) & Tour the Santas Around the World
FUN ACTIVITIES IN THE SQUARE AFTER THE LIGHTING:
• Christmas Carol Games in square
• Horse drawn carriage & wagon rides provided by Rosewood Services until 8pm
• Free Train Rides provided by the City of Great Bend
• Free Trolley Rides provided by Roots & Wings Foundation
• Free Goodies: Hot Dogs, Hot Chocolate & More in Jack Kilby Square!
• Winner Announcements of Cookie Contest, Parade, and Window Decorating Contest & Explore Great Bend Winners!
• Christmas Cornhole with the Barton County Fair Board.
• Christmas Petting Zoo with the Busy Buzzer 4-H Club
