HOME ESPRESSO & EXTRACTION is the perfect class for the aspiring espresso aficionado; focusing on dialing in, extraction and taste!About this Event
This class will focus on the dialing in process and the extraction side of espresso. This class will NOT focus on latte art. (Dedicated latte art class coming soon!)
This class will combine information from both the professional and home espresso world to provide the most comprehensive training possible.
This class will discuss...
- gear recommendations and essentials.
- single dose grinder vs. hopper.
- portafilter baskets.
- distribution techniques, including WDT.
- extraction manipulation to taste.
- troubleshooting.
- milk steaming basics.
This will be an in depth dive into espresso and participants will be behind the bar, using the same equipment we use every day to make drinks! You won’t want to miss this!
