Home Educator workshop: World War One

Discover how the First World War affected the lives of people in Bristol. Through the handling of real and replica artefacts, alongside other historical evidence, you'll explore the experiences of men, women and children during this pivotal period in history.
As you investigate fascinating local stories, you'll build your understanding of the First World War, develop historical enquiry skills, and use historical terminology with confidence.
Suitable for home-educated young people aged 12 to 16.
One adult may accompany their child during the workshop. If you choose not to stay, we ask that you remain elsewhere in the museum and provide a mobile phone number so that we can contact you if needed.
