Join us for a fun and interactive workshop exploring the incredible story of how humans evolved!
In this hands-on session, home-educated students will travel through millions of years, learning how early primates became modern humans. We’ll explore important steps in our evolution, like tool-making, language, and culture, along with the genetic changes that make us unique.
Students will learn about:
Fossils and what they reveal about our ancestors.
How natural selection shaped human traits.
Key evolutionary changes like walking on two legs, growing bigger brains, and social behaviors.
How humans adapted to different environments around the world.
This workshop is specifically designed for home-educated Key Stage 2 children. Younger siblings are welcome, but please note the content may not be suitable for their age. The session costs £7.50 per child, and children must be accompanied by an adult (who can attend for free). It's a perfect opportunity for homeschool families to expand their knowledge of biology and anthropology.
