A camp for home educators to chill, share, learn and have fun..
The fee covers a spot to pitch your tent surrounded by open fields over which the sun magnificently sets on many summer evenings. The site hosts chickens and a cockerel, and from time to time sheep graze in the adjacent field. The fire pit provides a space to gather for story telling/singing whilst enjoying the warming glow of the fire.
Arrival is noon onwards Tues 27th Aug and de-camp Thurs 29th 2pm During the camp the timetable is relaxed with opportunities to participate in planned activities, unplanned activities or do your own thing. It is a short walk to Stanwick Lakes which has extensive footpaths to Higham, Ringstead(delicious tearoom) Rushden Lakes as well as multiple play areas in various locations around the Lakes.
We will offer some activities but we invite you to also bring activity offerings. This is not compulsory though.
It is self catering but we are offering an opt in meal option if you fancy.
