In that case, you may be interested to know that there are down payment assistance (DAP) programs such as Edina's ComeHome2Edina Program, Eden Prairie First Time Homebuyer Program, Woodbury's Home Buyer program, Dakota County First-Time Homebuyer and Minnesota Housing Finance Agency- which is available for first-time AND repeat buyers, statewide. Grants, loans, and tax credit programs might be available too-subject to funding and program parameters.

If you had a life event that resulted in poor credit, bankruptcy, foreclosure, divorce, unemployment or other credit challenges, there is no better time to start rebuilding your credit.
