It is Christmas time and the McCallister family is preparing for a vacation in Paris, France. But Kevin is sent to his room and as the rest of the family rushes to make it to the airport on time, they completely forget about Kevin. When he discovers that two burglars, Harry and Marv, plan to rob his house on Christmas Eve - Kevin takes matters into his own hands.
