Ben, Caja and Paul are about to leave their rural school to start high school in Rotorua. This moving, surprisingly funny drama follows the three teens through their growing up. Examining themes of racism, heritage and belonging, the nostalgic nineties setting and challenges have salient messages for the social issues of today.
This new play by local writer Sheree Veysey, is having its first reading with a talented cast including Benjamin Wickers (Court Theatre 2024; The curious incident of the dog in the nighttime). Directed by Andrew (AJ) Johnson
