hOm returns to the Columbus Museum of Art for their third annual Spring Equinox Sound Bath & Celebration, weaving together the organic rhythms of singing bowls, cello, vocals, guitar, violin, and more—echoing the natural forms and handcrafted worlds explored in CMA's exhibition "Wild Earth: JB Blunk and Toshiko Takaezu."
This year, hOm and CMA are thrilled to welcome special guest musician East Forest, who will join the ensemble on piano, keys, and vocals, bringing his signature blend of meditative and atmospheric sound.
From 6:00 to 7:30 PM, explore hOm’s Spring Equinox Market, featuring local makers and artisans. While you're here, take part in a 10 Minute on the Dot tour for a close look and deep dive into "Wild Earth: JB Blunk and Toshiko Takaezu," an exhibition celebrating artistic creation shaped by nature—garden vegetables, river stones, weathered timber, and the vast landscapes of the Pacific Rim.
Spring is the season of awakening—the great artist of time, painting the world with color, movement, and life. Just as spring calls forth blossoms from the earth, artists call forth beauty from the depths of imagination. What better place to welcome this season of life & creativity than at the Columbus Museum of Art?
Tickets are $75 for members and $80 for nonmembers.

What to bring
Bring what you would like to lie on during the sound bath including a yoga mat or pad, pillow, blanket, and even an eye mask.
A blanket is encouraged because of the variability of the temperature in the room. Everyone has different preferences, and we want you to be comfortable.
Bring a journal and pen so you can reflect on anything that is brought up during the sound bath.
What is a Sound Bath?
A Sound Bath is a deep listening experience designed to help the body relax and the mind unwind.
Using instruments like singing bowls and chimes, sound baths create a restorative environment that can help reduce stress, promote focus, and support overall well-being. hOm’s concert-like Sound Baths incorporate instruments like cello and piano alongside the relaxing sounds of songbirds, singers, and the ocean.
Attendees typically will bring a yoga mat (or pad), a blanket, a pillow, and sometimes even an eye mask to rest and relax during the sound bath experience.
Potential Benefits of a Sound Bath
1. Stress and anxiety relief: The soothing sound of singing bowls can help reduce stress and anxiety levels by inducing a state of deep relaxation and calm.
2. Pain relief: The vibrations produced by singing bowls can help relieve physical pain, particularly in conditions such as headaches and migraines.
3. Improved sleep: The calming effects of singing bowls can help promote better sleep, which is important for overall physical and mental health.
4. Improved focus and concentration: The repetitive, rhythmic sounds of singing bowls can help improve focus and concentration, making it easier to meditate and achieve a state of inner calm.
