Holyoke Arts League Annual Wistariahurst Exhibition

Starting June 1st, 2026, the Wistariahurst Museum at 238 Cabot St. in Holyoke will host an exhibition of artwork by members of the Holyoke Arts League (HAL).

We hope you will attend our opening reception and meet the artists who live in Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut! Join us on Monday, June 1, from 5-7 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. Throughout the month of June and much of July, the exhibition may be viewed free of charge during the museum’s open hours, Mondays from 10 a.m to 2 p.m., and Tuesdays from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

This juried show will include entries in oil and pastel, watercolor, acrylic, tempera, gouache and other non-oil wet media, graphite, charcoal, printmaking and other graphic media, sculpture and ceramics.

Light refreshments will be served!
The Arts League was founded in 1923 and is now celebrating its 103rd year in Holyoke. The League holds artist demonstrations and weekly adult figure drawing sessions. The museum and gardens are the historic home of the Skinner Family that owned and operated the Skinner Silk Mill, the world’s premier silk fabric production facility in the city’s Canal District. Durante el mes de junio, el Museo Wistariahurst, situado en el 238 de la calle Cabot de Holyoke, acogerá una exposición de obras de arte de miembros de la Liga de las Artes de Holyoke (HAL). El museo y los jardines son el hogar histórico de la familia Skinner, propietaria y gestora de la fábrica de seda Skinner Silk Mill, la principal fábrica de tejidos de seda del mundo, situada en el distrito del Canal de la ciudad.

Esperamos que asista a nuestra recepción inaugural y conozca a los artistas que viven en el oeste de Massachusetts y el norte de Connecticut el lunes 1 de junio, de 17.00 a 19.00 h. Este acto es gratuito y está abierto al público. Durante todo el mes de junio, la exposición podrá visitarse gratuitamente en el horario de apertura del museo, los lunes de 10.00 a 14.00 horas y los martes de 16.30 a 18.30 horas.

Esta exposición con jurado incluirá obras en óleo y pastel, acuarela, acrílico, témpera, gouache y otros medios húmedos distintos del óleo, grafito, carboncillo, grabado y otros medios gráficos, escultura y cerámica.

Se servirán refrescos.

La Liga de las Artes se fundó en 1923 y ahora celebra su 103 aniversario en Holyoke. La Liga organiza demostraciones de artistas y sesiones semanales de dibujo artístico para adultos.
