About this Event
Vigil Retreat for Young Adults - Beginning Holy Week in Prayer
Holy Week is the most sacred week of the Christian year — yet it can easily pass by unnoticed in the busyness of life. This retreat offers young adults the opportunity to pause, step away from the noise, and begin Holy Week in a spirit of prayer, silence, and encounter with the Lord.
Join us in Whitefriar Street Church for a special overnight vigil retreat in the Carmelite tradition, beginning with Solemn Sung Vespers and continuing through the night in a peaceful atmosphere of prayer, reflection, and community.
This vigil retreat offers a space to slow down, listen to God’s word, and prepare your heart for the great mysteries of Holy Week — while also connecting with other young people seeking to deepen their faith.
Rooted in the Carmelite tradition of contemplation, the evening will include moments of silence, prayer, teaching, and fellowship as we keep watch with the Lord at the beginning of Holy Week.
