About this Event
Our next Run and Recover event with Sarah Allan and Stephen Fraser is happening at Mugdock Country Park, only a 30 minute drive from Glasgow. This session we'll be mixing it up. Sarah will be taking the lead on a full body workout and run, and we'll be finishing off with some yoga, breathwork, coffee and snacks, plus an optional cold water dip for the brave.
With all of our events, we aim to ensure that fitness and running is done alongside recovery. Recovery is such a key element for not only feeling better, but also performing better, helping you take your training to the next level. Schedule as follows:
9:00am We will be meeting at Mugdock Country Park Visitor Centre
9:30am Sarah Allan will take the group to the spot where she will lead a team workout which will involve running and various bodyweight exercises with options to modify where appropriate
10:00am Water break
10:15am Yoga and breathwork with Maureen. Maureen has 20 years of experience in ashtanga, hatha, vinyasa, yin, yoga nidra and yoga therapy. Her thorough knowledge will guide you through a strong and warming practice to get optimum recovery from your workout.
10:45am Coffee, snacks and optional cold water swim
11:15am Depart from Mugdock
