About this Event

Visit us on Sunday, May 5th to commemorate Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day.

Holocaust survivor Peter Metzelaar will be in the museum from 11-1 to answer questions. Visitors will also have the opportunity to decorate a butterfly in memory of the children who were killed for our Wall of Remembrance.

Visit our website for more information about Holocaust Remembrance Day and 11 things you can do to honor the day.

Through stories and artifacts of Washington State Holocaust survivors, the museum’s exhibit engages visitors in this history and challenges them to consider how each person’s actions make a difference.

Visitors can interact with video testimony from local Holocaust survivors, explore artifacts that bring history to life, and learn about local students who are upstanders in their schools and communities. Spanish translation of exhibit is available in the museum.

Reserved tickets are recommended, and walk-ins are welcome. Tickets are free to reserve. Suggested admission is $10, or $5 for students and seniors. Your support helps keep our museum open to everyone.

Tickets to this event are valid for museum admission throughout the day, 10am-4pm.
