If you haven’t heard, the entertainment industry is in crisis, leaving thousands suddenly searching for new careers. Estimates are that 25% of jobs are gone and not coming back. As one veteran executive put it, the entertainment industry is in a full-scale depression. Not a recession. A depression.So what can we do about it?
We can put on a fun show!
Join us for Hollywood Horror Happy Hour, a night where entertainment professionals share ridiculous, true stories about making the delicious sausage we call television. The location and equipment have been donated and all labor has been volunteered so every bit of the proceeds raised will benefit unscripted women and non-binary folks in dire financial need.
Anyone in and out of the industry is welcome (21+). If you can’t make it but can spare some change, there’s a button for donations on the Eventbrite page.
