Edinburgh based singer songwriter Holly Powers and father Andy Powers, weave together guitar, bass and vocals to create a hypnotic and melodic indie folk sound. Inspired by the likes of Jose Gonzalez, Laura marling and Nick Drake, her songs explore the mind, both through word and melody.

Performing since she was 13, Holly Powers began her journey at her School’s record label, performing as support for musicians such as; Admiral Fallow and James Grant. Now, as a father and daughter duo, they have been performing over the last year around local venues in Edinburgh.

Last July Holly released a single titled ‘Make Me Feel Light’ available on Bandcamp.
