Holly Jolly Gnomes: Ceramic Luminaries

Enjoy a creative morning with Instructor Carley Harris while you learn how to hand build your own jolly gnomes out of clay. Experiment with form, texture and color!

In Session 1: Using slabs of rolled out clay, you'll build, form and smooth your own gnome shapes with hands-on guidance provided by Carley as needed. Add holes or cutouts for the luminary option and include decorative elements and anything that adds character to your gnomes. You'll be provided with enough clay to create one medium and one small gnome.

In Session 2: Your gnomes will be ready to accept glaze! You'll spend this session applying glaze in solid or patterned applications using a variety of available colors. You'll be contacted in about a week to pickup your completed pieces when it has been glaze fired in the kiln. Pickup will include an LED tealight for each of your luminaries.
