In today’s age, we are bombarded with information designed to sway us to buy things, commit to practices and programs, and think or believe in sometimes biased ways. This is a kind of other-centered hypnosis that attempts to pillage our sovereignty, our right to personal choice and free-will.
However, when you learn to recognize these mechanisms and instead utilize the mind-body connection to take back the reins of your personal authority, you reclaim your integrity and step back towards your true self.
There is a tangible need to reclaim each of our innate identities by parsing through who we really are, who we are NOT, and clarifying our consciousness as we live in greater and greater truth. There are many practices designed for this—meditation, breath work, and physical disciplines such as yoga and Tai Chi.
