We are so excited that the Holistic Hurt, Wholistic Healing Conference is returning this October! This mini-conference is FREE and open to the public (registration required).We are humbled to have Candice Marie Benbow, Author and Public Theologian, with us on Saturday to tackle some taboo topics from her book, Red Lip Theology: For Church Girls Who've Considered Tithing to the Beauty Supply Store When Sunday Morning Isn't Enough.
On Sunday, we are delighted that Rev. Dr. Melanie Jones Quarles, director of the Katie Geneva Cannon Center for Womanist Leadership will be our guest preacher. She is the author of the forthcoming book, Up Against a Crooked Gospel: Black Women's Bodies and the Politics of Redemption.
