Mountain Grove and Citrus Plaza's Annual Holiday Event and Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held in the Mountain Grove Food Court.We will kick off the holiday season with the lighting of our 50 Foot Christmas tree with over 21,000 sparkling lights.
Beginning at 5:30 PM, watch the tree come to life in a magical tree lighting ceremony. The evening's festivities will also include live music by Instant Replay, DJ Tony spinning holiday music, stilt walkers, jugglers, a hot cocoa bar, holiday train rides, crafts for the kids, and more.
Then after the tree is lit, come have your photo taken with Santa at Santa's workshop. Tree lighting ceremony activities and entertainment will be held in the Mountain Grove Food Court.
Bring a new unwrapped toy for the Kfrog/Spark of Love Toy Drive kick-off.
Photos with Santa, hot cocoa, and crafts will be limited while supplies last on a first come first serve basis so please register so we can stock up on the supplies. Santa will be returning the following Friday - Sunday at Mountain Grove and then he will be relocating to Citrus Plaza in December. For times and details go to the event page at CitrusPlaza.com
Blankets and low chairs will be permitted on the grass area only. Seating will also be available around the food court restaurants on a first-come, first-served basis so come early, grab some dinner and get a spot.
No ticket is needed to attend the event but please register so we have an idea how many to expect.
